Brittany is a Counseling Intern currently pursuing a Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling at the University of Arkansas. She believes that healing occurs when individuals feel seen, heard, understood, and supported in the midst of pain.
Brittany strives to create a safe, welcoming space where clients feel comfortable showing up as their authentic selves. She values authenticity, presence, meeting clients where they are, and honoring the courage and vulnerability in showing up.
She enjoys working with college students, teens, and adults. She is particularly interested in working with PTSD, suicidal ideation, self-harm, depression, and anxiety.
Her clinical approach is grounded in Relational Cultural Theory (RCT) and trauma-informed care, with an emphasis on connection, safety, and the healing power of the therapeutic relationship.
Outside of her clinical work, Brittany enjoys reading psychology books, spending time in the sun, and connecting with loved ones and friends.
Brittany currently offers low-cost (and in some cases pro bono) therapy options with a rate of $30 per hour.
